The mission of our two parishes is simple:
Save Souls! One of the ways in which we do that is to offer different ministries the support they need to assist us on our personal journey. It's a give and take; we support them in their calling and they support us on our spiritual walk with the Lord. We're called to "make disciples of all nations." If we don't strengthen ourselves from within we will quickly grow weary.
Why? The ministries of our two parishes are always in need of
something to strengthen their members. If you're not familiar with all the ministries offered in our two parishes, we invite you to peruse our
Get Involved page which showcases all of them in one place.
Familiarizing yourself with parish activities further strengthens you for the job of evangelizing. If, for example, as part of your Lenten journey, your family invites a newcomer to Mass
(Lent Suggestion #3), they may want to learn more about parish life and how they can live out their call as a Catholic Christian the way they see you live. Parish ministries play an important role in personal conversion so it's necessary that we do all we can to support them, and in turn, strengthen the Body of Christ.
What to expect? Any ministry within our parish would be thrilled to receive a phone call or email with an offer of support, as well as an invitation to join if you aren't already a member. The amount or form of any contribution made is not important. Your desire to strengthen parishioners for the mission of the church is.
Contact information for each ministry can be located on the respective pages within our site.
