Let's not pass up the opportunity to share Jesus' Resurrection because it seems uncomfortable.
Why? The Resurrection is, after all, the basis of our faith life. It applies to our lives every single day, not just on Easter Sunday. Sometimes we fumble a little when we try and teach it in a meaningful way that is also age-appropriate. But there are plenty of "tools" to choose from. We've highlighted just three, but countless others can be found online.
What to expect? Resurrection Eggs are twelve brightly colored plastic eggs that contain small symbols that tell the story of Easter. They come with a companion booklet that explains each object contained in the eggs, however,
Benjamins's Box: The Story of The Resurrection Eggsis a beautifully written and illustrated book that
"tells the tale of a child following Jesus in biblical times to find out who he is." If you have both younger children and teens in your family, allowing your teen to read to your younger children and discover what's inside each egg together can be an enjoyable experience for both of them.
In the same way, making
Resurrection Rolls, (or empty tomb rolls) after they are done reading the story can add to the experience. Or consider doing this as a stand-alone project and including scripture while you make them. If you're not familiar, Resurrection rolls help to illustrate the empty tomb after Jesus rises on the third day by rolling a marshmallow inside crescent roll dough and baking them. When the roll (or the tomb) is placed inside the oven, they contain Jesus (the marshmallow). When they come out of the oven, Jesus is not there. Complete instructions can be found

Resurrection Cards are amazingly simple but powerful, and appropriate for teens and adults alike. Using index cards, write what you would like Jesus to resurrect in you during Lent and then hang it up where it is visible. Examples of this may include a positive attitude, contentment, deeper knowledge or understanding of our Catholic Faith, etc. Often we discover the things that Jesus wants to awaken or resurrect in us through intentional prayer such as Adoration, praying the rosary, attending daily mass, and so on.
